Aspiring Members
The members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. represent a distinctive segment of the nation's demographic profile. Alpha men have been instrumental in the founding and leadership of the NAACP, People's National Party, Association for the Study of African American Life and History, United Negro College Fund, Southern Christian Leadership Conference. The membership of over 175,000 includes prominent and accomplished activists, educators, politicians, businessmen, philanthropists, entertainers and athletes.
The alumni chapter, Xi Psi Lambda Chapter, and the nonprofit organization, Alpha Phi Alpha Foundation of Manasota, Inc., collobrate in fullfing the fraternity's mission to develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.
